　　Fucheng paper-cutting, a cherished art form from Mianyang, Sichuan, represents an important part of China’s cultural heritage. Originating during the Qing Dynasty, this delicate and expressive art form was first used as decorative window displays. Through the centuries, it has gradually evolved from a simple folk craft to a meaningful blend of tradition, imagination, and creativity.
　　The beauty of this art lies in its precise techniques and symbolic designs. Skilled artists patiently create flowing compositions featuring natural elements like flowers, animals, and traditional lucky patterns. These designs vividly reflect people’s enduring hopes for happiness, peace, and prosperity. In recent years, contemporary themes including family life, education, and social changes have also been introduced, making the art more dynamic and accessible to younger generations.
　　Today, Fucheng paper-cutting has expanded well beyond traditional decorations. Its distinctive and elegant patterns now appear on clothing,souvenirs,and even digital media platforms, demonstrating its adaptability to modern life. This evolution clearly shows how traditional art can remain relevant through creativity and continuous innovation. Ultimately, Fucheng paper-cutting serves as a bridge between past and present, proving that cultural traditions can maintain their deep value while embracing positive change. It stands as both a vivid preservation of history and an endless inspiration for future creativity.

　　涪城剪纸，源自四川绵阳，是一门珍贵的民间艺术，也是中华文化宝库中的瑰宝。它起始于清代，最初常被用作窗花，点缀日常生活。几百年来，这门技艺在传承中不断发展，从简单的手工装饰，逐渐升华为融合传统与创造的艺术。
　　剪纸之美，在于技法的精巧与寓意的深远。艺人手执剪刀，心随纸走，花鸟鱼虫、吉祥纹样跃然而出，寄托着人们对幸福、安宁与繁荣的美好愿望。随着时代的变迁，家庭、教育、社会等新题材不断融入其中，使古老的艺术焕发出新的生命力，更加贴近年轻一代的心灵。
　　如今，涪城剪纸已不局限于窗棂之上。它的图案出现在服饰、礼品上，甚至走进数字平台，展现了非遗艺术与现代生活相互融合的魅力。它不仅守护着历史的记忆，更启迪着未来的创造，宛如一座桥梁，连接过去与现在，映照出文化传承的不息光辉。
