　　As the faint dawn light spreads over Luxian County’s hills, it gently falls upon the blue stones of Longnao Bridge. There, four stone dragons lie bathed in the soft sunlight: each nearly two meters long, their bodies showing quiet strength, while their light-golden stand sharp against the sky, as if piercing the lingering morning mist.
　　These carvings are part of Luxian Stone Carvings, a craft famous for its exquisite work and deep connection to dragon culture. Located in the heart of the Sichuan Basin, Luxian is home to dozens of ancient stone bridges crossing clear streams, yet the dragon carvings on these bridges are the most attractive part. With claws holding tightly to the stone surface and light shining between their scales, the dragons appear to be so real that one might imagine them leaping from the bridge at any moment.
　　Luxian people’s love for dragons goes far beyond the carvings on the Longqiao Bridges. Artifacts like the“Green Dragon”stone sculpture, housed in the Luxian Song Dynasty Stone Carving Museum, and traditions such as the Yutan Colored Dragon- a vibrant dragon dance- reflect their deep respect for dragons. To local people, the dragon is more than a symbol: it carries their sincere hopes for a better life , their pursuit of dreams, their sense of belonging to their hometown , and emotional ties to their history.
　　For many years, these stone dragons have stood firm, holding Luxian’s rich cultural heritage. May they continue to watch over the county’s beautiful rivers and mountains, and passing down Sichuan’s special dragon culture to future generations.

译文泸县石雕——四川龙文化的“活载体”

　　黎明的微光漫过泸县的山峦，轻轻落在龙脑桥的青石上。桥上的四条石龙沐浴在柔和晨光里：每条龙身长近两米，身躯透着沉稳的力量，泛着淡淡金色的龙角直刺苍穹，似要刺破迟迟未散的晨雾。
　　这些雕刻正是泸县石雕的一部分。这门工艺以精细的技法以及与龙文化的紧密联结而闻名。泸县地处四川盆地腹地，有数十座古石桥横跨清溪之上，而桥上的石龙雕刻更是最吸引人的部分——龙爪紧紧攀附在石面上，光影在鳞片间闪烁，石龙栩栩如生，仿佛下一秒便会跃出桥面。
　　泸县百姓对龙的喜爱，远不止桥上的雕刻。泸县宋代石刻博物馆中珍藏的“青龙”石雕、雨坛彩龙（一种鲜活的舞龙民俗）等，都体现出泸县百姓对龙的深切敬仰。对当地人而言，龙不只是一个符号，它还承载着人们对美好生活的真挚期盼与对梦想的追求，更凝聚着大家对家乡的归属感和与历史的情感联结。
　　多年来，这些石雕龙巍然屹立，承载着泸县厚重的文化底蕴。愿它们继续守护这片土地的秀丽山河，将四川独特的龙文化代代相传。
